Pros:
Excellent to drive, rear wheel drive is a treat. Solid build and engineering. Reliability without question. Good overall image for aging car.
Cons:
316 is rather slow on the uptake however still a reasonable performance. Not much equipment as standard could be better.
Limited rear leg room.
Expensive servicing through BMW dealerships.
Comments:
The E36 is a very sensible choice, a variety of engine choices and bodies to suit everyone. Would be very pushed to find a bad example.
