This car is like driving a go-cart, its tight in the corners quick off the mark and in the really world, more than speedy on all roads i could find, it is also quiet(ish) and the roof is a bit more usable.

Its bloody expensive to fix if you have any problems with the suspension or engine as there are very few aftermarket parts for it meaning you have to buy Toyota parts which are 4 times as much. i had an Mx5 before this car and thought that it was lovely. i upgraded because i wanted something a litte more sporty and nippy. This i would say is one of the biggest mistakes i have ever made. In hindsight, i wished i'd stuck with the Mx5, its bigger, more sensible (sort of) easier to drive and to live with. granted the mr2 is faster, but for that little bit more speed you sacrifice soooooooo much 'live-ablity'.

I would not say that this car is rubbish. In fact i would go as far as to say that this car is good. However, there are other cars on the market that are still better. Yes, its fast and feels like a real sports car cos the 'engines in the boot'. But i would still pick the mx5 over it. it doesn't have that day to day usability and it certainly costs alot more to keep it on the road. before you buy one of these, have a go in all the other cars and you'll soon realise that it has its flaws.
