Pros:
The Blue&Me system for voice regognition, bluetooth phone connection, and USB audio is by far the best on the market, even beating the equivalent Merc system for simplicity:features ratio.
The diesel engine is a fantastic drive.
I have had a 1.2 Active as a courtecy car, and in comparison, the improve trim, and Lear Jet designed seat on the Sporting puts it in comfort and asthetic catagories well above the cars punching weight.
The boot is enormous. I had an Alfa 147 before this and the Punto makes it look tiny.
5* NCAP! - Nice to know you are in safe hands.
Cons:
Uses more diesel than the 16v version f the engine in the heavier Alfa 156.
Chunky windscreen pillars can heavily impede view on some bends.
