unique appearance,stylish interior,comfortable driving position,good suspension and handling,

the 1.4 model is infuriatingly sluggish,keycards are unreliable and expensive to replace,light bulbs are difficult to change,problems with the engine starting,electronic sensor problems

As i write this my car is 5 years old and only done 30,000 miles.10,000 of which i have personally driven within the 18 months of my ownership. Most of my complaints about this car are due to electical issues but when you have a car that relies so much on the latest electronic gadgets then these little quibbles soon become major day to day problems. Heres an example of a day in the life of my renault megane and myself. I get into my car with my one working keycard(as the car refuses to recognise the existence of the other one).Then i have to hold the card in front of and in close proximity to the general area where the slot is(as the cradle which should hold the keycard in the dashboard has fell down into the centre console). Now comes the cool part,i press the start button.unfortunately this can take between 10-15 seconds before it finally whimpers to life.then as i look over to check the time before driving away i notice the outside temperature is currently sitting at -36(now i live in scotland and i must admit it can get quite chilly at times however this car will tell me its still -36 on a tar melting summers day). Finally i drive off but not before a series of irritating beeps bombard my ear drums accompanied by a flashing light show telling me i must stop.this can and regularly does happen when turning corners,on roundabouts and generally when accelerating and briefly distracts you're attention from the road. I must admit i do like the exterior design of the car and i never tire of the style of the interior.i am a dog owner and find the boot size and shape is perfectly suited to our k9 friends.the ride is very comfortable and visibility and driving position are excellent. My review may seem a little unfair but when you have to put up with all these relatively small problems every day then they do seem to chip away at you're general enthusiasm for driving.i can only hope my experience is in the minority and most drivers are enjoying there megane...
