With the 335d, the best entertainment available from a "family" car, with perfectly reasonable running costs.

Ride quality. Expensive new. License losing potential.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this car to anybody wanting a fast, entertaining, practical and cheapish to run saloon PROVIDED they can live with the ride. On reasonable roads it's acceptable, but can become almost unbearable on broken surfaces, especially in the back. Did I say fast? Once rolling these things are truly effortless and probably as quick as anything you'll see all day. Note: seldom mentioned, but 335s (i & d) use old fashioned hydraulic steering, making them heavier to drive but far more communicative in their responses.
