I have the Prodrive performance pack and it really does make the difference. Handling, brakes and performance don't come cheaper than this.

Very thirsty though I imagine this is made worse by the PPP. I only ever get 200 miles from a tank at best.

Overall I really don't see a better car for the money than this. With a 0-60 time of around 4.6 seconds it truly has to be the best of its type for value. Especially as the Prodrive version costs no more to insure as the modification is a recognized standard. I personally love high performance saloons which leaves me with Mitsubishi, Subaru, Audi and BMW to choose from. Well for all those that in their review mentioned high servicing costs, I would recommend them taking an S4 or an M3 into a main dealer. I used a Subaru dealership once but have since avoided them like the plague due to overpriced ineptness (this was Jennings Subaru, now extinct). I am fully aware that most will be very good but I much prefer to take it to a local Rally specialist who doesn't charge the earth. Unfortunately I am now due a change and will be leaving Subaru behind me and moving to an Evo but to not take a backwards step it will have to be an FQ. I'll never forget my STi mind and totally recommend one. Hell I've even made a new friend because of it, Dave my local petrol pump attendant :)
