Pros:
nice cabin, and comfortable place to be. Reliable in my 3 years ownership - the model is a 2.2 Turbo diesel. New turbo was required after 6 months ownership - SAAB paid for it.
Cons:
Trim a bit fragile, front tires wear quickly
Comments:
Model 2.2TID - bought in 2005, 2 years old at the time with 26k on the clock. Now got 60k.
Nice ride and overall good economy. Engine a bit agricultural but I quite like that.
Ownership has been a breeze - found an independent SAAB specialist in Glasgow - Schoneville tel 0141 429 5833 - much better than main dealership.
Only quibble is the trim in the cabin is a bit fragile bits tend to rattle, and squeak and some of the black facia on the radio controls has peeled off.
Front tires wear a lot - wheels balanced etc, but Schoneville said that is typical of front wheel drive saab's.
