cheap tax generally reliable,comfy even on long distance 300 mile +

couple of early electrical breakdowns fixed under warranty, fuel consuption no where near fords figures

no real problems except fuel consumption- never had better than 55mpg mainly motorway @ 60mph, never had worse than 50 though @ at my usual 80mph, as a guide in all my other cars on the same 50 mile commute i usually get 10% more than the combined figures quoted ( i get 43mpg out of my 54 reg 1.8 laguna on the same trips), that should be nearly 70mpg in the fiesta, i had one as courtesy car for 2 weeks this gave exactly the same figures as mine, so if you read about these cars returning 60+mpg forget it they dont. still a great car though
