Parts and labour too expensive for an old car but most dealers offer better prices than you'd think.

I've had my car 17 years and it still does 130mph if I let it. It's the best car I've had over 32 years of driving. It does approx 20mpg in town but will do 30+ on motorways and 90 cruising speed. It doesn't like hills though. But at 173,000 miles I'm not complaining. It's had 1 new battery, 1 new clutch, and 2 oxygen sensors. Tyres can be expensive but it's not too heavy on them; approx 40,000 per set. It will be a shame to change it but I don't need a big car now so buying a small hatchback. It'll make someone a nice car if they want to try the "ultimate driver's machine" without a huge outlay. If you've never driven 1 you're missing out.
