Totally reliable, ultra-cheap to run and maintain, bright interior

Felt a little tinny on the road, lack of safety equipment, rust, noisy at speed

My Fiesta was a 'Seaspray' special edition! A simple, basic car, it was also the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned, never putting a foot wrong the entire time I owned it. Fantastic value too - after a year of ownership I sold it for £100 less than what I'd originally paid. With its rattly 1.1 engine it was slow, but great fuel economy more than made up for it. I was very lucky to have the Seaspray as my first car.
